Doris Peterson); Adam, Jr.; Myrtle (m. Ray Barth); and Bessie (m. Frankie Barth). Virgil married Lucella Irene Peterson 2 Jun 1937 at the Hauge Church. Lucella was born 26 Mar 1919 to John E. and Lenora (Danielson) Peterson. John and Lenora are buried at Hauge Cemetery, Canoe Twp.

Virgil and Lucella have 2 daughters: Elaine, married Dr. Dean Yarwood. They have 5 children; and Carol, married Donald Blegen and has 2 children. There are 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Virgil and Lucella are farmers. They bought their place in Hesper Twp. in 1943 and enlarged it in 1950. In 1983 they sold their farm to their daughter Carol and husband. Virgil and Lucella built a new home on part of the farm to
